Taigam edh

Taigam , Ojutai Master. I started brewing this deck the moment he was spoiled. The main idea of the deck was originally to use modal spells such as Cryptic Comman to get more value out of rebound.

Now the deck is very value based. Not only do these cards depict a cool peripheral character in the Khans of Tarkir storyline, they also represent a focal point of the block itself: time travel and timeline changes. Ways it wins: -Polymorph into Blightsteel -Dramatic Reversal imprinted on an.

Plus, rebounded spells have a much bigger delay than cascaded spells. Still, it’s a very powerful effect. Skip the big draw spells by using cantrips as mana draw 2s. Play control until you can take all.

Instant, sorcery, and Dragon spells you control can’t be countered by spells or abilities. Having both those rebound means you wipe the board and then wipe it again right before the next turn while preserving your threats. I’d have to discard and rebound it at upkeep? Von Generator bis Wäsche. Alles finden, was Sie brauchen. Bigstuff Dimir Reanimator. If it leaves the battlefield after the spell has gained reboun that spell will still have rebound.

It’s our ramp that really gets the hurt. I dont see it being one of the ultra competitive commanders but I was impressed by how much weight he pulled. As a commander, could go any direction but voltron really.

Definitly a deck you got to just build with what you got and tweek the hell out of. Mystical tutor would fir very nicely in here to tutor up extra turn effects. Honestly I would play more draw spells and evasion spells or tempo cards, since rebounding extra turns and card draw freaking divine. Just to be clear: I have no beef with that.

What I want to adress is not that attitude, but ways to deal with differing attitudes, budgets and play style preferences in a tournament setting. For my EDH decks I have a different approach. Deckbuilding is always a game design exercise.

For Standar my goal for the design is to win (well, usually). For EDH my goal is more about the experience for everyone around the table. I feel trying to build the most effective deck for multiplayer games is pretty self-defeating, so I try to stay. Exile the spell as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast that card from exile without paying its mana cost.
